With the holidays recently past I’m sure most of us have picked up a few pounds. I know I did and I really dislike dieting! That’s why I’ve found counting calories helpful. I eat what I want in moderation and focus on portion control. Weather you just want to see how your overall nutrition is, or want help losing some weight and achieving over all better health, I’d recommend the free app called MyFitnessPal. It has a database of thousands of foods and exercises to help get nutrition and fitness on track. It tracks calories eaten as well as other nutritional information and also factors in exercise from the total daily calories. It’s so easy to use, and being on my iPhone is always close by weather I’m out to eat or at the gym. I’ve been using it for about a month now and have lost almost five pounds. It’s free so all you have to lose is a little weight!
